About the Book:
New York Times bestselling author Joel C. Rosenberg returns with a high-stakes political thriller set in Russia.
Everything he learned to protect our president, he must use to take out theirs.
With an American president distracted by growing tensions in North Korea and Iran, an ominous new threat is emerging in Moscow. A czar is rising in the Kremlin, a Russian president feverishly consolidating power, silencing his opposition, and plotting a brazen and lightning-fast military strike that could rupture the NATO alliance and bring Washington and Moscow to the brink of nuclear war. But in his blind spot is the former U.S. Secret Service agent, Marcus Ryker, trained to protect but ready to kill to save his country.
My Thoughts:
Chilling in its fictional accuracy, Joel C. Rosenberg's new novel is fast-paced and packed with, "Please, God, don't let this happen" moments. "The Kremlin Conspiracy" has that ripped-from-the-headlines feel, which is both a good thing and a not-so-good thing!
In fact, I had reached a pivotal point in the story when breaking news shocked the nation, if not the world itself. Stunned, I realized that Mr. Rosenberg still had the unbelievable talent of viewing current events and then taking a giant fictional leap, only to have key elements appear in headlines.
The details of the story were so intense I had to share with someone. My husband said he didn't plan on reading "The Kremlin Conspiracy", so I spilled everything I'd read so far.
The next day he bought a copy for himself. I'm giving "The Kremlin Conspiracy" five stars, with a "for such a time" seal of approval.
Until the next page turns,
Deena
